On the Eve of the Precinct Caucuses, Prominent State Legislators Rally Behind Ryan Frazier

Wheat Ridge, CO March 15, 2010 – Numerous key Colorado lawmakers have recently voiced their support for Ryan Frazier’s campaign to unseat Democrat Incumbent Ed Perlmutter in Colorado’s 7th Congressional District. After advancing to “Contender” status in the NRCC’s Young Guns program and outraising Perlmutter in 4th quarter, these notable endorsements only add to the growing momentum of Frazier’s campaign. With vast grassroots and political support coalescing behind Frazier, this race has quickly become one of the most competitive races in the country.

State Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry (R-Grand Junction) enthusiastically endorsed Ryan Frazier saying, “We need to send a new generation of reform-minded conservatives to Washington, and Ryan Frazier clearly fits that bill. As one of Colorado’s rising stars, he will be an energetic, strong, and articulate voice for Coloradans’ values. There is no doubt that Ryan will help to rein in Washington’s out-of-control spending and help return the country to fiscal responsibility.”

State Senate Minority Caucus Whip Nancy Spence (R-Centennial) added, “As a state legislator and a long-time advocate for improving our education system, I am confident that Ryan Frazier will be a strong supporter of school choice, states’ rights, and individual liberty. Through sensible and principled reforms, Ryan Frazier will help our country get back on track.”

“Not only is Ryan Frazier a reliable proponent of free markets and fiscal accountability, but he is also a family man with strong conservative values. He will take bold new ideas to Washington that will help make our country and our state stronger and more prosperous,” stated State House Minority Caucus Chair Amy Stephens (R-Monument).
