For the US economy to thrive, we must stop the reckless spending practiced by Washington insiders and their lobbyists. The record debt created by both the Right and the Left is creating a drag on our economy and hurting working families all across America.
We must pay for programs with existing tax revenues. We cannot continue to borrow more money from foreign investors so that insiders and lobbyists can greatly expand the size of government. For every dollar we borrow today, we’ll likely have to raise twice as much in taxes later to pay back bankers in other countries.
That is why as your next United States Congressman, I will work to pass a balanced budget, root out wasteful spending, and cut tax rates in order to create a friendly environment for business and jobs. Building a vibrant economy for our children and grandchildren must be a top priority.
My focus is on making government fiscally responsible and putting our economy first.
